Nurturing Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Teams
We recruit and select student startup teams, supported by subsidies from the Ministry of Education's Higher Education Sprout Project and internal resources. This initiative offers a series of innovation and entrepreneurship courses, mentorship, and training to shape a campus culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. Outstanding student teams are invited to settle in the 189-ping Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base, where they can turn their creativity and dreams into reality.
Promoting Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mentorship Program
We integrate the efforts of industry, government, academia, research, and venture capital funds to provide services such as course training, event participation, space provision, professional industry-academia mentorship, international collaboration opportunities, and startup funding introductions. Additionally, we have established the "Chung Cheng Incubation Company" to assist the outstanding teams we nurture in their entrepreneurial endeavors, meeting the diverse needs of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Establishing the Chiayi Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance
In collaboration with the Chiayi County and City Governments and the Chamber of Commerce, we have formed the "Chiayi Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance." This initiative aims to bridge academia, industry, and research institutions. Through this tri-party cooperation, we seek to achieve local connections, information flow, and resource sharing, promoting the development of innovation and entrepreneurship in Chiayi, while striving for a synergistic industry-academia-research collaboration model that maximizes overall effectiveness.
Accelerating Faculty Research and Development Outcomes
We encourage faculty members to innovate in research and development and foster a culture of industry-academia collaboration. By providing various forms of support, we aim to effectively manage and utilize research and development outcomes, thereby enhancing the R&D capabilities of industry-academia partnerships.
